Green Meko Cream Cheese Toast with Tomato

Simple but full of flavour  this toast brings together silky cream cheese, juicy tomatoes, and the bold herby punch of The Green Meko. It’s the kind of recipe that takes 5 minutes but tastes like you thought about it all morning.

Ingredients (serves 2-3)

Main:

 


  • 2 slices sourdough or your favourite bread, toasted
  • Cream cheese, to taste
  • 1 ripe tomato, sliced
  • 1 tsp The Green Meko (or more to taste)
  • Optional: chilli flakes, fresh basil or sea salt, to finish

Instructions

  1. Toast the Bread
    Lightly toast your sourdough or bread of choice until golden and crisp.
  2. Spread the Cream Cheese and add tomatoes
    While the toast is still warm, spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each slice. Top with sliced tomato.
  3. Add the Tomatoes
  4. Serve
    Finish with fresh basil and if you like, a pinch of chilli flakes or sea salt.;

Best served with whatever’s coming out of the oven. Best served with Pepper Pots.
