Ingredients (serves 2)
- 2 nests egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1–2 tbsp The Golden One
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 thumb-sized piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1 handful mixed veg (carrot, pepper, cabbage, or whatever you’ve got)
- 1 protein of your choice (prawns, chicken strips, tofu etc.)
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Optional: Fresh herbs, lime to serve
Instructions

Prep the Noodles
Cook your noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain and set aside. -
Cook the Protein
Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan. Add your chosen protein and stir-fry until cooked through. Set aside. -
Sauté Aromatics
In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Sauté the garlic, ginger, and spring onion for a minute until fragrant. -
Add the Veg
Toss in your chopped vegetables and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until just tender. -
Stir in the Flavour
Return the protein to the pan. Add The Golden One, soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, and a splash of water if needed. Stir well. -
Toss in the Noodles
Add the noodles and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until hot. -
Serve Hot
Plate up with a sprinkle of fresh herbs, and a squeeze of lime if you're feeling it.
Best served hot from the pan and straight to the bowl. Best served with Pepper Pots.
