Stir fry noodles featuring the Golden One

Fast, fiery and flexible, these stir-fry noodles get their depth from The Golden One, bringing warmth, sweetness and subtle spice. Add prawns, chicken, or whatever's in the fridge. Dinner's done in under 20.

Ingredients (serves 2)

 


  • 2 nests egg noodles or rice noodles
  • 1–2 tbsp The Golden One
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 thumb-sized piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 handful mixed veg (carrot, pepper, cabbage, or whatever you’ve got)
  • 1 protein of your choice (prawns, chicken strips, tofu etc.)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Optional: Fresh herbs, lime to serve

Instructions

  1. Prep the Noodles
    Cook your noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Protein
    Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan. Add your chosen protein and stir-fry until cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Sauté Aromatics
    In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Sauté the garlic, ginger, and spring onion for a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the Veg
    Toss in your chopped vegetables and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until just tender.
  5. Stir in the Flavour
    Return the protein to the pan. Add The Golden One, soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, and a splash of water if needed. Stir well.
  6. Toss in the Noodles
    Add the noodles and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until hot.
  7. Serve Hot
    Plate up with a sprinkle of fresh herbs, and a squeeze of lime if you're feeling it.

Best served hot from the pan and straight to the bowl. Best served with Pepper Pots.
